How to record a workout

Modified on Fri, 25 Sep at 5:28 PM

  1. Select either the "Freestyle" or “Programs” at the bottom of the home screen.
  2. Put your sensors on, then press and hold the "Start" button.
  3. Once you hit start, you'll see a screen displaying your heart rate, a timer, and a "Stop" button.
    1. Note: As soon as you hit "Start," the sensors are actively looking for exercise — but the actual workout data only gets captured once they detect exercise has begun. You don't need to start working out the instant you hit "Start." Take your time getting set up. The same goes for finishing: you don't need to hit "Stop" the moment you're done working out. If you wait another 80 seconds after your last set, the sensors will also capture your heart rate recovery.
  4. Once you complete your workout, press and hold the "Stop" button, your data will begin to sync and upload to the cloud. This will take 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Once fully synced and uploaded, you will be able to view a draft of your workout where you can choose your workout type (Strength or Metcon). If you choose Metcon, you can then choose between AMRAP, Chipper, RFT, or EMOM (one movement + rest or complex + rest).
    1. Note: Soon, we plan to release an app version where you can record your full sessions in one go, and the app will automatically split it in Metcons and Strength, where the order doesn't matter.
  5. Now you can review and edit your workout. Input the weights you used and specify any variations you did, then get your results.
  6. Now you can review all of your insights.
    1. If you run into syncing or recording issues, you can submit the session for review or contact support.
