Where to Start With WurQ (Quick-Start Guide)

Modified on Mon, 2 Feb at 4:55 PM

Step 1: Wear Your Sensors

  1. Place the wrist sensor on your right wrist with the branding visible.

  2. Attach the chest sensor just below your sternum, above your stomach.

  3. Make sure the chest sensor is in direct contact with your skin so it can read your heart rate accurately.

Step 2: Start Your Workout

  1. You can start a workout through Freestyle WOD, or by selecting a WOD from a program, or by attempting one of your favorite benchmarks

  2. For any WOD from Program, visit the WOD Details page to learn more about the workout and see how others are performing on the leaderboard.

Step 3: Connect your sensors and perform Orientation Check

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your iPhone.

  2. Touch the metal nodes on the wrist sensor to activate it. The red LED will light up.

  3. Put on the chest sensor. It will automatically turn on when in contact with your skin.

  4. Tap Connect Sensors in the app.

  5. The app will scan and display your sensor pair.

  6. Select both sensors and rename them when prompted.

  7. Once renamed, the sensors will automatically connect for future workouts.

  8. Once the sensors are connected, you will be directed to the orientation page.

  9. Stand Still like shown in the image on the App for 3 secs.

Note: Do not pair the sensors through your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings. Sensors must be connected inside the WurQ app.

Step 4: Start Your WOD

  1. Once the orientation check is passed, the Start button will appear.
  2. Tap Start and follow the 5-second countdown to begin your workout.

Note: The workout timer does not begin during the countdown. Time starts only when you perform your first movement.
