How do I connect my WurQ sensors?

Modified on Mon, 2 Feb at 4:25 PM

Step 1: Activate the sensors

Wrist sensor

  • Touch the metal nodes on the back of the wrist sensor.
  • The red LED will light up to confirm it is on.

Chest sensor

  • Attach the chest sensor to the strap.
  • Put it on. It will automatically power on when worn and touches the skin.

Step 2: Pair and connect the sensors in the app

  1. Start a workout from Freestyle WOD or a Program WOD.
  2. Tap Connect Sensors.
  3. On the sensor connection screen, the app will scan for available sensors.
  4. When your sensor pair appears, select them.
  5. Rename the sensors when prompted.
  6. Once renamed, the sensors will automatically connect for future workouts.

Important note: Never use IOS settings to connect with sensors. If you already did, please click "Forget" in the iOS settings.

Quick Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Turn OFF Bluetooth and fully close the WurQ app.

2. Touch the nodes on the sensors and check if they start blinking (if they do not, you might need to replace the battery - a rare case)

3. If the sensors are blinking, reopen the app and turn ON Bluetooth. They should now appear in the app and be ready to connect.

- The Sensors remain active for 1 minute for you to connect them.
- If you're unable to connect within that time, please touch the nodes of the wrist sensor to reactivate it.

If for any reason, you're unable to view the sensor check "How to Reset the sensors"
